What You Can Do About

Childhood Cancer?

Here is an opportunity for Woodbury and surrounding communities to ride in THE GREAT CYCLE CHALLENGE during the month of September! Set your own schedule, set mileage and sponsorship goals, and be a part of team LIONSROAR.  (YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A LIONS CLUB MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE!) The Great Cycle Challenge is a national event which raises funds for Children’s Cancer Research Fund (based in Minneapolis), and individual riders share their rides on a fun LIONS ROAR team leaderboard. Anyone around the country can join in!

We're building 50 beds!

  • You do not need carpentry skills

  • We are also looking for bedding donations that can be dropped off at the build event - twin size sheets and comforters - preferably store-bought sets - new unused bedding only

  • Volunteering Requirements:

    • Each volunteer is required to fill out an Indemnification Release Form.

    • Children under the age of 12 are asked to be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

The Woodbury Lions Club…where ALL are WELCOME!

Whenever the Woodbury Lions club gets together, problems get smaller and our community gets better. That’s because we serve Woodbury with unmatched integrity and energy. Everywhere we are, we make friends. Friends with children who need glasses. Friends with seniors who don’t have enough to eat. And friends with people struggling with childhood cancer or diabetes. We know it’s hard for one person alone to make a difference but together we get stronger and more effective.
